19 years old, Ronaldo & Messi “carry sandals” for Mbappe

Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have established themselves in the world of football, but back at the age of 19, they are far behind the current emerging talent – Kylian Mbappe.

Not long ago, the football world still said that it would be a long time before there were people who showed killer instincts like Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. That is not unfounded in the ever-evolving and difficult football landscape for strikers.

Scoring an average of 50 goals a season is clearly a huge challenge for any striker. Last season, Europe saw Mohamed Salah explode with 44 goals for Liverpool in all competitions, but not many believe that will last.

Experts used to hope that Neymar or Antoine Griezmann would break the dominance of Ronaldo and Messi in the race to win the most prestigious individual title every year (Golden Ball, The Best), but they have yet to do so. And basically,

Neymar or Grizi are not scoring machines.

However, Ronaldo and Messi likely won’t prolong their reassurance. World football is emerging a 19-year-old character, with the promise of the position of the “next King” – Kylian Mbappe.

At this age, the French striker of the Paris Saint-Germain club has surpassed both CR7 and M10 in goal statistics.

Up to this point, Mbappe has a total of 52 goals for the clubs he plays for (AS Monaco, PSG). Meanwhile, at the age of 19, Messi has 25 goals for Barcelona and Ronaldo has only scored 17 goals for Sporting Lisbon and Manchester United.

If the assessment of the difficulty of Ligue 1 is not equal to La Liga or the Premier League, then in the Champions League, the two Argentine and Portuguese superstars must “carry sandals” for Mbappe. 19 years old, Ronaldo has yet to score in the Champions League, Messi has only 2 goals, and Mbappe has scored 10 times.

If still not level enough, in the national team, Mbappe has 9 goals for Les Bleus, while with Ronaldo it is 7, Messi is 4.

In the end, both Messi and Ronaldo have not done what the striker of the junior generation can do, which is to win the world championship.
