A deal that could see Lionel Messi earning £350 million per year is being proposed by Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal to bring the superstar forward to their team in the summer.
According to reports, Al Hilal has presented their proposal to Lionel Messi and his representatives in an attempt to lure him to Saudi Arabia in the summer.
If Messi accepts the offer, he would surpass Cristiano Ronaldo’s current annual salary of £177m paid by fellow Saudi outfit Al-Nassr, as reported by Fabrizio Romano.
This would mark the first time since 2018 that the two football stars would play in the same league again after Ronaldo left Real Madrid for Juventus. Messi could be in line for the biggest payday of his career if he decides to leave PSG at the end of the season, once his contract with the Parisian club comes to an end.
